FSBCA Children's
Ministries exist to PARTNER with families to REACH and TEACH children through
the love of JESUS! Our Ministries are:
Jesus Centered.
Our ministries are centered on the saving grace of Jesus Christ as Lord
and Savior.
Bible Focused.
Our ministries are based on the teaching and principles of the Bible as
God’s inspired word.
Prayer Powered.
Our ministries are supported and empowered through the Holy Spirit with
prayer.
Fun/Child Targeted.
Our ministries intentionally target children’s spiritual needs in a way
that is fun, exciting, and life-long.
Relevant.
Our ministries are relevant to the needs of children where they are, in
relation to their family, their church, their school, and their environment.
Relational.
Our ministries encourage positive
peer relationships, as well as, relationships with adults who will lead
and guide them.
Safe.
Our ministries have children’s safety and well being- physically,
emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as a priority.

Bible
Study
On Sunday mornings at 9:45 am, our children learn biblical truths
through games, activities, songs, play and Bible Study in a fun and age
appropriate classroom.
Extended
Teaching Care
We offer quality care for children birth to pre-kindergarten during both
of our worship services on Sunday mornings and for birth to 2 years on Sunday
evenings, Wednesday evenings, and other special events.
Discipleship
Training
On Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm 3 year olds- Kindergarten
and first-sixth graders participate in learning about missions, being involved
in prayer, sharing our faith and Bible study through TeamKid/Mission Friends.
Preschool
and Children's Choirs
On Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm we have a choir for
our preschoolers and our children where they begin learning music theory
in addition to praising God through song and Bible instruction. They are
involved in musicals as well as Christmas presentations.
Kids
Camp
We plan an annual trip “out of town” each year during
Spring Break to focus on a child-centered worship and Bible study, and friendship
building experience for children in first-sixth grade.
This year’s camp is March 14-17, 2010.
Vacation
Bible School
Need Answers? Ask God. This year we are going to Saddle
Ridge Ranch to discover answers about who we are, what God’s plan is for
our lives, and how we can be like Jesus. Join us June 7-11, starting at
6:00 pm.
Music
Camp
This week long event (July 26-30,
2010) will start at 9:00 am each morning. Children in first-sixth grade
will get the opportunity to learn, practice, and perform the musical Rock
Solid. There will be drama, music, choreography and fun!
Fall
Festival
Families and kids of all ages will enjoy our annual carnival
style event where families can safely come for food, candy, games, and more
on October 31, 2010.
