Advanced Bible Classes
We offer these courses to allow members and guests to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.  We desire to have deeper Bible Study that challenges and stretches each individual.   These classes meet on Sunday Evenings at 6:00 pm.  Our current classes continue until April 17.

Pastor Jack will lead us on a roller coaster ride through the Old Testament.  We will study briefly each book of the Old Testament, giving us a synopsis of each book and how the fabric of the Old Testament comes to play in our lives.  This is a great tool to have as you study on your own God’s Word.  A Bible Handbook will be available to purchase.  The class will meet in Building D.

Mary Kaye will lead a Priscilla Shirer study “Breathe…Making Room for Sabbath”.  One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe.  We are in bondage to busyness.  We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. We miss the moments because we rush ahead to the next thing. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God's greatest gifts. It is time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God. In the Old Testament, God instituted principles and laws that would transform the Israelites' mindset. He didn't just want them legally free; He wanted them to be able to walk in the freedom and enjoy it. So God gave them many gifts, including boundaries in which to enjoy those gifts. Sabbath was intended as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted the concept of Sabbath will change your life.  The class will meet in Building C.

Mom2Mom group is designed for any mothers who want to get together and study how God can use them in a special way.  Great time of study, discussion, and fellowship while the children are being taken care of by our wonderful children’s workers.  Led by Amy Zimmerle in MAC 5.

A Special short five week study.  Dr Paul Benware will lead "Locked up in Rome" which is a detailed study of Paul's prison letter to the church at Philippi.  In it is found central truths on the Person of Christ, the fate of the believer at death, as well as a number of important principles for living a Christ honoring life.  The class meets for five weeks beginning October 16 through November 20 from 6 – 8 pm.  The class will meet in Building D.

TEENS   A six lesson study called “Vivid” is based on the Book of James and a simple premise:  If you follow Christ, your life should look like it.  James calls his readers to live a life of vivid faith!  James challenges students to let their faith shine through their words and actions.  Following this will be a four lesson study called “Engage” Our teenagers face an avalanche of messages and situations that stand in opposition to their faith.  Students are looking for answers on how to navigate these waters, and this study will help!  This class meets in MAC 6.

CHILDREN   “Science Sense” a new class starting on Sunday evenings in the Fall called Science Sense. We believe that love for God and love of science can go together.  After all, Romans 1:20 states that God's "eternal power and divine nature"(NIV) are displayed by creation.  Come join us as we use science to explore the days of creation in Genesis and much more. We'll learn about light,  buoyancy, volcanoes, the water cycle,  pH required for healthy organisms, and much more. This will be an exciting time of hands on science, but also of realizing how amazing God is who made everything. This class is for K-6 graders and meets in MAC 3.

Mission Friends This class for preschoolers will focus on missions around the world. Kids will learn about missionaries, people groups, and how to serve others and share the gospel. Preschoolers will love the hands on activities, stories, and projects that will help reinforce their lessons each week.  This class meets in MAC 2.

DiscipleCare Quality childcare with a message for the youngest of our preschoolers.  Your children will be loved upon by our wonderful leaders.  This class meets in MAC 1.

Life Groups

Life Groups meet in homes or during the week.  One of our three commitments for growth is Live Jesus in a small group.  In a community of believers, we learn the Bible, make friends, and encourage each other to live out our faith.  These Life Groups offer additional options to our Sunday Bible Studies.
