Discipleship Classes

Discipleship classes are taught on Sundays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.  Here are the current class choices.

Samuel, A Lifetime Serving God.  In a time of great wickedness, Samual assumed a leadership role by faithfully preaching and following the Word of God.  Like today, immorality in Samuel's time was rampant, and the culture was drifting away from the Lord. The MEN OF CHARACTER series highlights the lives of men in the Bible whose relationships with God we can learn from today.  This class is designed for men and led by Dave Kelley.

Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David's life is based on the teaching sessions of Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Kay Arthur.  The class is divided into three segments with two lessons from each author.  Priscilla Shirer focuses on David as a young man.  Beth Moore focuses on him during his middle years.  And Kay Arther looks at David as a man facing the final third of his life.  You’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them.  This class is designed for women and led by Mary Kaye Wonner.

Seven Words to Change Your Family: Hope is one of the greatest needs in today's families.  Someone has said that if you have lost hope, you have lost everything, and too many families have lost their hope.  They are not seeking transformation; they are seeking survival.  They are not believing God for a better tomorrow at home; they just hope to have a home tomorrow.  We will look at three healing words – forgiveness, blessing, and honor.  We will look at three building words – truth, church, and commitment.  Last we will look at a transforming word – Love.  This class is designed for men and/or women and led by Phil Johnson.

Youth Discipleship: Classes led by our youth coaches. Meets in MAC 6.

Children:  We are using DiscipleLand materials to lead your children to a deeper understanding of the Bible and what is means to be a follower of Jesus.  Meets in MAC 4.

Preschool: We have excellent opportunities for our smallest children to learn about Jesus and how to share His love around the world.  Meets in MAC 1 & 2.
