Early Childhood Ministries

Our Early Childhood Ministries has several ministries that help our children grow closer to Jesus. Each ministry is designed to share, teach, love, guide, and lead children to know more about whom God and Jesus are and what the Bible says about them. Children will love the stories, friendships, and learning through play in Bible Study, Extended Teaching Care, Team Kid/Mission Friends, and Mighty Lambs Choir. We strive to teach children that God, Jesus, their parents, and the church as a whole loves them! We believe that the smallest children can understand what love feels like and that this is the perfect time to begin sharing Jesus’ love and laying a foundation for a personal relationship with Him.

Bible Study, Birth to Pre-Kindergarten
Preschool Bible Study, traditionally known as Sunday school is focused on Bible study. Babies all the way up to Pre-Kindergarten enjoy an hour of hearing a bible story read to them by a teacher, listening to music, eating a snack, playing, and learning about how Jesus loves them. Our desire is that through Bible study and our worship services your child and your family will experience Jesus’ love like you never have before and in a real way! Our preschoolers learn through interactive classrooms that teach them basic and foundational truths about God, Jesus, the church, and their families. Our teachers and leadership want to invite and challenge you to experience Bible Study and a Worship service each Sunday morning. We believe that it can be life changing through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Extended Teaching Care, Birth to Pre-Kindergarten
Extended Teaching Care is provided during both our 8:30 am worship service as well as our 11:00 am worship service. During this time each child is cared for by a loving, trained, and screened volunteer. They provide teaching for the child that is purposeful and complimentary to lessons that are learned in the Bible study hour. Bible verses, music, and play are all used to teach children about God and Jesus’ love. Our volunteers also make sure that these children return to their parents clean and dry and make separating from parents as easy as possible. Extended teaching care allows parents to be free to worship without worry. We invite you to come see for yourself.

Preschool Team Kid & Mission Friends, (3 yrs-Kindergarten)
Team Kid for Preschoolers is “a fast-action, movement-oriented, exciting and fun way to learn about God!” Preschoolers will love this time spent learning about God, Jesus, friends, and family. Children often create and then eat their snacks, along with some other silly learning, hands on experiences, Bible stories, and music. Your children will want to return again and again and we would love to have them. Every other quarter we turn our focus to missions. Mission Friends is for preschoolers ages 3 years through kindergarten. The primary objective of Mission Friends is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers in a Christian and mission oriented lifestyle. Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate mission minded learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God's love, and to understand ways they can help others know about this
good news! We invite your child to join us each Sunday night at 6:00 pm.

Mighty Lambs Choir, 3yrs-Kindergarten
This choir has the privilege of singing several times a year and are part of our Christmas presentation. Children learn basics of music and worship. Bible truths and hands on activities make this program an exciting part of each child’s week!
